Maria's Optimal Method To Calming the Brain

     Our world is crazy! I have to tune out to tune into me. Not everyone does this. In my healing center, I see clients day in and day out who are living stress. Some really take it out on their bodies, others, are doing everything they can to manage the stresses, and that is why I am apart of their healthcare. Certainly we need to be eating nutritious foods, high density nutrients. We need to be exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep. This is simply to maintain, repair, and rest...so our mood, emotions and cognition are improved. We all need more stress-reducing in our lives...the quiet separation from our third world, trauma, drama...mama!

Here is what I recommend to improve your anti-stress resilience factors:

  Choose an 
activity that makes you feel good
you might need to think back to childhood. 
Be curious, and playful with this. Maybe it is art, or reading, or movies, or... Football with buddies! 
     For me, I like to get out, and walk my dog in nature, next to the lake.

It is vital we separate from our devices. 

I no longer wear a Fitbit. I no longer carry my iPhone with me, where I used to listen to music, and snap photos, and take calls, and send emails...texts.... NO, this is your time. 

TIME to connect to your soul. To nature, to the divine. it is time to LISTEN . Be mindfully aware of this magic that is available to you each day, and get unplugged, to plug in. You can find your greater purpose here, reignite inner light and passions... and YES, everything and anything is possible!

Have a morning and evening GRATITUDE practice


DUDE!!!! Take control of your brain, and HIIJACK your thoughts first thing out of bed...you will have a HAPPIER, come connected from of mind. 
Seriously...I typically will say 5-10 things I am thankful for before getting out of bed in the morning. And in the evening, when I lay my head down on my pillow, I begin to express 5-10 things that were amazing about my day, that I am so thankful for. 

Focus on the good, the beauty, the love.

You must be MINDFULLY PRESENT 


YO!!!!

Are you able to give your conscious focus? 
Be ever present in this moment? 

Give your world ATTENTION> and then go within...

Meditation is a fabulous stress reliever! It gives answers, slows us down, connects us to our higher self. 

Be curious...notice the details, colors, shapes, signs, and symbols! Curiosity feeds the brain! Remember that child-like splendor. Why did we ever want to grow up? and we wanted to grow up so fast too!!!


FOCUS ON KINDNESS. Don't judge others. We are all humans, here having our own journey. Instead of focusing on differences, focus on similarities, and beauty, and the wonderful gifts each of us brought to the planet to share. The best gift of all, is HEART...LOVE. 

Focus on LOVE. Your oxytocin levels will increase! This is the hormone of connection...and YUMMIENESS!!!!
It will slow down your heart rate, and it will allow you to feel happier and healthier! If you still feel like judging...then try to  focus on why that person is good, and know that everyone has struggles. Consider their struggles, and come from a place of understanding. HELLO, you are human too! you are not perfect.

    Notice the softening in your heart. Start a practice of sending silent blessings and LOVE to people you pass on the street, or who you meet along your way. Notice how this improves your brain health too! 

Ok friends: Side note:
     Its  time to put more mindful goodness into the world. We need it. What we do to self, we do to others. Love on yourself, and love on others. Be supportive of dreams, see how we all impact our planet Earth. Bring out all the precious stones, and gems you have kept hidden in your hearts. Honor and embrace your gifts, giving thanks.


Finally...

Breath-work
Focus on mindful breathing. This allows you to create space and time to think clearly. A calming effect happens quickly!
